Our Review

The Frederick House Hotel offers a lovely combination of a handsome Georgian façade and a cosy, homely interior. It’s a very affordable property, yet being housed in such a traditional building it is able to offer good-sized rooms with high ceilings. Many guests appreciate being able to cross the road first thing each morning to enjoy a hearty Scottish breakfast in the very chic Rick’s Restaurant.

breakfast &/or bar facilities are to be found off premises... Luggage room for your bags before and after check out.... the facilities were great. ... seemed to trouble one or two of the other guests.However, we loved it and would definitely visit again.... The very passable breakfast is taken over the road... no restaurant or bar in the hotel.... Ritz restaurant is great which is just opposite and the hotel have arrangements with them for breakfast.... I have marked down the facilities as there's nowhere to convene downstairs. ... no real facilities ... facilities were a little basic but that wasn't a problem as we really only went back to sleep.... Hotel does not serve breakfast... car-parking is a good 15 minutes walk away.... Ricks cafe for breakfast leaves a bit to be desired... Breakfast is in a restaurant/bar across the road and was good.... does miss bar/restaurant facilities.... I know when you book you are told that, but it's not until you get to the hotel you accually miss them....
